Who can become a member:
PACT is an open membership group that collectively promotes and assists in the implementation of investigator-initiated, patient-focused, multicentre perioperative research. We are inclusive of all health professionals – physicians and health scientists, research coordinators, nurses, etc. – as well as trainees who are interested in perioperative care.
Why become a member:
A member is a part of a collaborative research network that offers mentorship, professional development and expertise in perioperative research. Members and their research ideas or projects are supported through constructive feedback from perioperative research experts on methodology, ethics and fundability of research programs as well as continuous support throughout the research process. Membership opportunities also include collaboration on research projects and sharing of research tools and templates.
To become a member:
There are currently four (4) levels of membership:
- PACT Member – Physician (MD): Membership for Physicians wanting to join the PACT. Membership includes registration to the twice yearly PACT Scientific Meetings.
- PACT Member – Scientist (PhD and other): Membership for researchers with academic appointment (PhD, non-PhD). Membership includes registration to the twice yearly PACT Scientific Meetings.
- PACT Member – Physician Trainee / Graduate Student: Membership for physician trainee (Resident, Fellows) and graduate students (Master, Doctoral and Postdoctoral level). Membership includes registration to the twice yearly PACT Scientific Meetings.
- PACT Member – Health Professional / Research Staff / Other: Membership for health professionals and research support staff including research coordinators, assistants, etc. Membership includes registration to the twice yearly PACT Scientific Meetings.
