Guidelines

The principal investigator – in consultation with the Trial Steering Committee if one exists – will determine the rank order of authorship bearing in mind the following considerations:
1. The degree to which a proposed author has contributed to the design and conduct of the trial; and
2. If trainees involved, the impact to the development of their prospective career
All papers will be reviewed and may be edited as appropriate by PACT prior to any submission for publication
All manuscripts will acknowledge the funding source(s)
All manuscripts will indicate at the end of the individual authors list the following phrase “on behalf of the Canadian Perioperative Anesthesia Clinical Trials Group”
